Be sure to look through the NJATC website for other resources and information. You can find local programs through the Find a Training Center page
Thank you for attending the NJATC workshops at the December conference in Charlotte. The 9 files on this webpage are the files used in the workshop and will provide you with the materials required to present an introduction of Photovoltaic Theory for the students.
As you learned in Charlotte, the NJATC produces the training materials for over 285 IBEW/NECA electrical apprenticeship training centers across the U.S. and Canada. These training centers are referred to as JATCs. These local JATCs provide training for electrical careers and at the same time provide:
- Place of employment
- Excellent increasing wages
- Health Insurance
- Pensions and retirement plans
- The best training available for electrical career
In fact, most apprentices will make nearly $200k while in their five years of training. And many of the JATCs have an articulation agreement with a local community college that allows program gradutes to receive a 2-year Applied Science Degree. Wouldn't you agree that it is worth a little bit of your time to contact the nearest JATC training center and request a classroom visit from the Training Director? Quite simply, there is no better opportunity for students who want to learn a trade after high school or college?
Thank you again for the opportunity to present in Charlotte and feel free to contact me if you have further questions.
